UPDATED (8pm, 20 March): It's been confirmed: the unnamed K-Pop band which was roped in for the Twin Towers @Live concert this weekend is none other than Girls Generation (also known as SNSD).
Arguably one of Korea's biggest and most successful bands, Girls Generation have, to date, released three Korean albums, three Korean mini-albums, one Japanese full album and a number of hit singles. Their 2009 hit single ”Gee” holds the record for being the longest running No. 1 song on KBS Music Bank having held the No. 1 chart ranking for nine consecutive weeks.
Besides Girls Generation, Orianthi, Kelis and Nicole Scherzinger, some of Malaysia’s top artistes including multiaward winning stars Faizal Tahir, Reshmonu and James Baum will also be taking the stage.
The concert is free for the public, so ladies and gentlemen, prepare for a massive downtown party!
Sonok la korang berjoget pasni ek?
